Apple Brandy

Our first ever release of brandy, double distilled from apples and aged in a American oak bourbon cask for five years, then finished in American oak maple syrup cask for a further two years. Never to be repeated!
 
Colour: Lingering sugars leave a slight cloudiness. Jersey caramel.
Nose: A stroll through the Canadian woods. Fresh cut timber, barley sugar, sticky sap, with a hint of grape jelly.
Palate: Creamy through the mid-palate, while charred oak and cinnamon keep a slightly savoury balance. Dolce de leche.
Finish: Loiters longer than expected. Finishes with a hint of musk that leaves you ready for another sip.
