The Inspiration
The whisky we craft at the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery are true single malt whiskies.
My inspirations are the great single malts of Scotland and the Isles, so it's only natural that our whisky is made to the same time-honoured traditions

The craft
Our stills produce a sweet and balanced new make that we age predominantly in large format ex-fortified wine barrels (Port or Sherry), either American or French Oak.
We prepare and heavy char these barrels ourselves at our cooperage known as ABeckett's Creek Cooperage here in Timboon next to our bond store.

The History
Timboon’s whisky story began long before licences and distillery doors, when hidden bush stills supplied the district with illicit spirit. Today the still runs openly, but the stories of those early distillers remain part of our heritage.
